ShenZhen Day 3

Early morning in ShenZhen, out tour guide brought us around for city tour. We went in a small van cos there were only 3 of us. The tour guide said we were going in a 面包车. I seriously thought it was a van that sells bread and asked him what bread. Embarrassing!!!!!

First, we went to ShenZhen's exhibition thing. They sell different types of jade bracelets, necklaces and glowing pearls there, from land and sea. My aunt bought both. She's the kind that believes these pearls bring power. The land one cost 300 RMB and the sea one cost 1500 RMB  =.=

This monster here is said to ward off evil and brings wealth. Its body parts are made up off different animals, can't remember each.
The ONLY thing I remember is it has no anus. This is to stop wealth from going out of it. XDD

Winter melon soup for lunch =)
This whole big pot just for the 3 of us.
I had 4 bowls myself WTF!!

Cucumber and fishcake.

Roasted duck meat

菜脯蛋

After lunch, our actual plan was to visit Window of the World and China Folk Culture Village but due to the rain, we had a change in plans and visited a Chinese Med shop and ShenZhen's Museum.

Just to complain, the med shop wasn't really worth going. It just tells us everything about plants, Dong Chong Cho and keep recommending us medicines. Then, we were kinda like forced to meet the sinsehs, and also forced to buy their medicines worth 1000 RMB  =.=
I might as well use the money to buy clothes!!!

Then, the museum~

Exhibitions at the museum

We wasn't really in the mood to look at all those wax people in the museum cos the tour guide said he would take us to places selling A 货 after the museum~
Fake branded bags and purses!!

These bags were divided into 4 types. AA 货, A 货,  B 货 and 水货. The one we're visiting sells AA 货~
The range of bags they sold were so huge, they even have brochures!
Bags that we wanted, but not in their showroom, we could order it from them by pointing at their brochures.

When we first reached the shop, I became curious. Our tour guide brought us to this massage shop, and it was locked but there were obviously people inside. He made a phone call and someone came to open the door for us.
The massage shop was huge. There was a list on the wall where customers can pick their own masseuse but all the masseuse were blind and wearing dark glasses.
Then, they lead us to a room. Once they opened the door, the whole place smelt like leather. Right in front of our eyes were branded bags, purses, belts, and even golf kits!!

BUT, the prices of all these were not cheap. I saw a purse I liked. The compartments was just nice, and the leather felt very soft. I asked a girl for the price, and it costs 3000 RMB WTF!!
I thought all these are supposed to be cheap...
Now i know why they called it AA  货.

The lift to the "massage shop".
It has a -1 floor!!  >.<
Weird why don't they call it LG or basement..

After the "massage shop", it was almost 5. So we asked the tour guide to drop us back to the hotel to place our stuff, and fetch us back to DongMen to continue our shopping~
Bought loads at DongMen. If I have the chance to visit ShenZhen again, I would definitely go back there!!

Had McD for dinner. Only then i realize, they don't sell pork burger there. I've always wanted to try and I thought only Malaysia don't have it. Turns out China don't have it too..
But there is one thing we don't have it here in Malaysia.
The McCafe ~!!!

McChicken, Filet O' Fish, and McNuggets~

Platinum cheese cake for RMB 19.

McCafe Large Mocha for RMB 22

After shopping, we wanted to take a taxi back to out hotel. I know it is only a 10 mins walk, but we were carrying so many things and it was drizzling!! Plus, taxis in ShenZhen are very cheap~

I stopped 2 taxis, and showed them out hotel card but they just told us to walk ourselves =.=
In the end, my aunt acted sick and my mum acted like the things she was carrying was very very heavy.. And, we got a taxi back to the hotel~ XP

P.S. Thats all for Day 3. Day 4 coming up!!!

XOXO,
Vivian
