Of Kukup Trip

Went to Kukup with Malacca SD 2 weeks ago. I'm sorry I only blogged about it now XP
Couldn't remember much about it anymore.. I'll try my best to recall everything then...

On Saturday morning, Ming An came and fetch me from my hostel, then we went to kaikan, did our morning gongyo, and boarded the bus. The journey to Kukup took us around 3 hours.
Sat with Phui Mun throughout the journey there. We talked. I first met her when i entered UTeM, we knew each other, but were not very close. She told me that one of the reason she joined this trip, was to strengthen the bond between us and between UTeM and Malacca SD.

She had a senior who took really good care of her. Now that her senior had graduated, it was her turn to look after her juniors, us. Besides me, there's still Xyndy from FKP Diploma, and Yen Ting, from FTMK. Yen Ting was in the same intake as me, but we didn't see each other so often.
I think what she said is true. UTeM, unlike UKM and UPM, was only established not long ago. Not much people knew about UTeM. If we couldn't build this bond between us, someday, we will be apart. Even though there's not many UTeM SD now, but i believe if we work hard, one day, we can have this connection between us.
I did enjoy the talk with her. It felt like we have knew each other better. Too bad Wan Sin couldn't make it. =(

When we arrived there, we had seafood for lunch. The seafood there was very fresh and delicious. XD
Then, we took our luggage to our room. That place was really beautiful. I couldn't imagine how they built a house this huge on water. The whole place was fully air-conditioned. After being given our room and bed, we started the activities that the PICs planned. Firstly was the ice-breaking, then songs and a simple study session.
We studied on 五重相对 and 二月奋战.
I couldn't really remember what the details were. I only know that五重相对 proves how great our Buddhism is, and二月奋战 was how Ikeda Sensei shakabuku-ed members in Japan.

Later at night, after we all showered, we had a really amazing dinner - barbeque buffet. The best thing was that we didn't have to barbeque food for ourselves. The people working there cooked everything for us, and we could ask for as much as we could finish.
They prepared fresh prawns, sambal ray fish, squids, fishballs, otak-otak, dumpling, sweet corn, roasted chicken wings and puddings XD

Later at night, we just had a simple study session, and had the chance to walk around the village. I loved the wind there. It smelt a lil bit fishy, but the breeze was cold and very comfortable.

The view outside our room.
We staying above the sea <3

The next day, we had our breakfast, then a review and sharing session. Later, we went on the boat ride around the village to see how the fisherman catch and grow their fish. Bought some local food there.
In the afternoon, we had seafood again for lunch and headed back to Malacca.

P.S. Typed this post for a very long time already... XPP

XOXO,
Vivian
